To avoid bad experiences with the purchase of your fabric corner sofa and the retailer/s, you may want to check the customer reviews first. If you search for bad customer reviews on the internet – you will certainly find some retail dealers that you will want to avoid. For instance, these might include IKEA and Dwell-Balham. But on the other hand, IKEA does have a large fan base (they even have a fan website or two!) and they often get rave reviews from their customer- fans. Based on the website reviews – you may or may not wish to buy this piece of furniture from IKEA. You will definitely wish to avoid Dwell-Balham! Further, these reviews are current and timely.

If one visits the large auction on-line retailers (like eBay) finding customer reviews is relatively easy. The good retailer will usually come up at the top of the page ranks or lists. One attractive retailer with a good-looking product is Wendy-USA. Wendy-USA got four to five stars in just about all the ratings categories; Item as Described, Communication, Shipping Time and Shipping with Handling Charges. All of the customer ratings and reviews were current to within 12 months. eBay even goes so far as to give a 99.3% Positive Feedback rating for this seller and a Feedback Score of 1113. This is their “red star” rating – they want most of their sellers to have a “silver star” rating. Note: The retail item rated here was the New Peyton Espresso Fabric Corner Sofa.

A higher rated seller of this type of sofa is Furniture Tent (also on eBay). These folks also scored close to five stars in the last 12 months (in the same categories that were noted above). These folks got a 100% Positive Feedback rating from eBay – which is impressive for their low Feedback Score of 168. This is only a “turquoise star” rating – not to fear, they just haven’t been around long enough to make a higher Feedback Score. The implications are that Wendy-USA and Furniture Tent are probably very good sellers of this item based on customer reviews and feedback ratings.

The manufacturer of traditional chesterfield furniture also appears to offer the same fabric furniture item here on eBay. They are also highly rated at 98.4% Positive Feedback. But they only have a low Feedback Score of 104 – that is probably due to the fact that this is a new product launch for them.

Oddly, the online “competitor” (Amazon) appears to have no customer reviews as yet for the fabric corner sofa.
